The impact of the strikes on the teaching of Espoo School of Art

The strikes and political demonstrations that will stop public transport from 12 to 15 February 2024 will also affect the Espoo School of Art.

Teachers who are unable to attend classes due to the strikes will try to hold classes at a distance or later as transfers.

If a teacher is unable to arrange distance learning or shift the classes, the school will not be obliged to compensate for the missed lesson.

If the strikes have an impact on the teaching at the School of Art, the teachers themselves will be in contact with their students. If the teacher does not notify the student and guardian, classes will be held as usual.

We recommend that you reserve sufficient time and be prepared for possible transport challenges. If a student has to miss a class due to a transport problem, please inform the teacher.
