Applying for the 2025–2026 school year

You can apply to Espoo School of Art through the Eepos system starting April 23, 2025. Applications are accepted until February 2026, provided there is space in the groups.

You can apply to the following study options:

  • Basic education in visual arts and design (craft) for ages 4–20
  • Afterschool art clubs (kuviskerhot) for primary school–aged children

Student placements are granted for the full school year. After the autumn term, studies continue automatically into the spring term.

Basic education in the arts: visual arts and design

Espoo School of Art offers basic education in visual arts and design (craft). The teaching progresses age-appropriately:

  • Ages 4–6: Preschool courses emphasizing play and creativity in visual arts or design
  • Ages 7–12: Foundation and module groups introducing various areas of art
  • Ages 13–20: Workshops focusing on specific techniques

Art clubs for primary school children

We also organize art clubs – fun and inspiring afterschool art clubs – in primary schools. These clubs emphasize creativity, encouragement, and teamwork, and make it easy to enjoy art near the child's own school day.

You can apply to kuviskerhot at any time during the school year through Eepos.

Schedules 2025–26

See the preliminary timetable of the 2025–26 school year on the Student Guide page. Please note that changes are possible.

The meeting times for basic education in groups will be confirmed in May.

The timetables for the afterschool art clubs (kuviskerhot) will be confirmed at the beginning of the autumn term, once schools have published their own schedules.

If you change your mind, you can cancel the student place free of charge before the due date of the tuition fee.‍
